Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials through Firebase Authentication.

Interview Session Data

During mock interviews, we collect your text responses, AI-generated evaluation scores, performance analytics (including STAR and LLL framework assessments), and speech analysis metrics such as filler word usage, confidence indicators, and clarity scores.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and transaction history.

Speech and Audio Data

Our Service uses your browser's built-in Speech-to-Text API to convert your spoken responses into text. Audio processing occurs locally in your browser and raw audio is not transmitted to our servers. The resulting text transcription is sent to our servers for AI evaluation.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Service, including pages visited, features used, session duration, and device information.

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our mock interview Service
  • Generate AI-powered interview evaluations and performance feedback using the Anthropic Claude API
  • Produce text-to-speech audio playback of interviewer responses using ElevenLabs
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe
  • Analyse your interview performance, including speech patterns, response structure, and content quality
  • Send account-related communications such as subscription confirmations and service updates
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure through Firebase. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using Google's default encryption. We implement Firestore security rules to ensure users can only access their own data.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and interview data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes (e.g., payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting obligations).
